We loved the treats that Katie Claire shared with us to end Teddy Bear Day!
READING
This week students will begin reading poems and books about fall. Students will also continue reviewing all letters and sounds daily. Students will also continue identifying rhyming words, beginning, middle, ending sounds, compound words, and color words.
Math
Students began working in their calendar folders. Students will continue identifying AB, ABB, and ABC patterns, sorting, identifying 2D and 3D shapes, and identifying and ordering numbers 0-10. Students will write numbers 0-5 correctly. Students will continue counting by 1's, 5's, and 10's to 100 daily. Please practice counting at home
We sorted gummi bears by color and graphed them. We identified which color had the most/least bears. We also measured our bears using unifex cubes. We compared our bear with our partner to see which bear weighed more.
We sorted our teddy bears by color and size.
Word Wall Words
We had so much fun writing our word wall words in shaving cream!
