THINGS TO KNOW...
* WHERE DID SEPTEMBER GO? Can't believe that October is here on Tuesday!
*Tuesday, October 1 - Oak Ridge feeder zone administrators are hosting a Bond Informational Meeting at Vogel Intermediate at 6:30 p.m. You are invited to attend.
*Fourth grade will be attending Sam Houston Museum on Thursday.
*Parent Information Night is going to be combined with Fall Family Night. We will do one session of Parent Information from 5:30 - 6:00. Fall Family Night will then be from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Please help get the word out and make sure you are sharing about Fall Family Night!
*Picture Day - Start adding in your email notifications to parents that Friday, October 4 is Picture Day. A form should have gone home Tuesday with ordering information. We are using a different company this year and we are excited to see what they do.
*Early Release/Storybook Character Day - Please include in all newsletters home that Early Release/Storybook Character Day is Friday, October 11.
*Academic Conference has been rescheduled for Monday, October 7 @ 10:15. We will be walking visitors around from about 10:30 - 11:15 so be aware of that!
*October 10 - Gretchen Montgomery will be here for staff development during your planning period. Please make plans to attend.

BOND INFORMATION
The November 5th CISD Bond Referendum includes projects to address major renovation needs
at campuses across the District. They include HVAC and roof replacements at schools across our
high school feeder zones as well as
• phase 2 of the Conroe High School Master Plan that will combine all six buildings into
one and reduce the over 100 entrances and
• an overhaul to the plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems at Oak Ridge High
School.
