Morning Arrival Reminders

Thank you for all that you do to help morning arrival go smoothly. We have a few reminders that would greatly increase student safety, as well as assist our teachers.

  • Please use the middle school loop or the elementary school driveway for drop off. If you arrive after 7:30, use the elementary school car line. Students have to walk a longer distance from the middle school, which makes them late arriving to their classroom.
  • If you arrive after 7:35, you must walk your child inside and sign them in at the office. We want to be respectful of instructional time and our teachers.
  • When dropping students off, please refrain from pulling into parking spots and walking students across the drive way. This stops traffic and creates a safety concern.

Spring Carnival

Spring Carnival is getting close at GHES which means we are gearing up! This year the Carnival will be held on April 25 from 12pm-4pm. With the school at capacity, we are anticipating a high turn out.

We are looking to include you to make this event successful. Do you run a business? Would you like to display your business or craft at this years Carnival? If you are interested in being part of this event and reserving a table, please return the attached request form to the school by Monday February 24. We can still receive the forms after February 24, however we will be opening the event up to the public and we will not have overlapping business types. (ie. only 1 realtor, one insurance co. etc). Since you are a part of the GHES family, we are giving you early access!

If you are not interested in reserving a table, please consider donating an item or gift card from your business to help us raise funds through our silent auction and raffles. All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible and a tax ID number can be provided upon request.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me at elizabethwilliams0830@gmail.com. It takes a village to make GHES a success for our children. We look forward to your support for our event and thank you in advance for helping to make this a fun and exciting day for our community!!
