ICCS Mission Statement:
ICCS CLOSED TOMORROW
Due to the increase in illness, positive cases of covid, and exposure to covid among ICCS faculty, staff, and students today, which adds to the numbers reported yesterday, ICCS will be closed tomorrow, January 14th.
While students will not be able to be on campus tomorrow, students in 2nd-8th grade will continue with their core academic classes virtually. This afternoon/evening, families with students in 2nd-8th grade will receive schedules and instructions for virtual learning from homeroom teachers. Parents are asked to see the detailed email that was sent to families this afternoon.
During the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday (Monday, January 17), the ICCS campus will be closed for sanitization using the VitalClean disinfection service provided by Orkin. We look forward to being back on campus together on Tuesday, January 18th when in-person learning will resume.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, trust, and support.

Below you will find important information, dates, and deadlines regarding ICCS re-enrollment and enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year.

COVID UPDATE
We want our students to remain healthy and to be able to participate in high-quality in-person learning at school and in our classrooms. As has been our model since we returned to school during this pandemic, we will keep virtual learning going in our Google Classroom spaces through Google Meet so that students remaining at home either due to a positive case of COVID 19, exposure to a positive case of COVID 19, or out of caution being taken for the onset of a symptom may continue learning with their teachers and peers.
Should any teacher happen to have a substitute in their classroom and also have virtual learners, please note that our substitutes will not open up Google Meets for virtual learning on those days as has been our policy.

UNIFORM ORDERING UPDATE FROM SOUTHERN DRIFTER
The owners of Southern Drifter would like to communicate some important changes to their ICCS school uniform ordering and purchasing process.
COMING SOON! Annual uniform "pre-orders" will not take place this year due to a significant decline in in-person order placement and sales over the years. Instead, all ICCS parents are asked to access the QR code below and download the convenient Southern Drifter App to browse and order ICCS approved school uniforms and outerwear. Customers may also stop by Southern Drifter, located at 3101 Ernest Street, Suite any time to order or purchase needed uniform items. If you have an Android mobile device, you may go to Google Play, search for Southern Drifter Apparel, and download the App from there. All ICCS parents are asked to turn on the app notifications so you can receive updates and communication directly from Southern Drifter on when new uniform shipments arrive between now and August.
** Note: Souther Drifter keeps ICCS uniform pieces in stock throughout the year if needed.
Please stay tuned for more information about ICCS uniform orders and purchases in future issues of the Panther Press. For more information, please contact Southern Drifter directly at (337) 936-0104.

Sometimes I lose interest in a project or task and I cannot complete it as I should. Help me today to practice industriousness so that I can grow in responsibility and maturity. Amen.
