A Message from Mrs. Smith
Dear Students, Families, and Friends,
It is with mixed emotion that I write to you today. After being part of the Father John V. Doyle School family for over twenty years, I am planning to retire at the end of this school year. Father Woolley has graciously accepted my intention to retire. My husband and I are now looking forward to the start of a new chapter in our lives.
I thank God every day for the blessings of family and friends in my life! However, as my three daughters have grown - and two of them are pursuing careers out of state - I would like to be able to spend more time with them, as well as with my mom. Christian service opportunities will also play a large role in my life upon retirement. I look forward to discovering new ways to give of myself for the needs of others.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with wonderful pastors - Father Henry, Father Grenon, and now Father Woolley. The experience I have gained from being a faculty member and, most recently, administration, has been positive and rewarding. I thank all of our faculty, families, and parishioners for your support. The school and students will always be in my prayers and I ask you to pray for me.
I love Father John V. Doyle School and its mission, and I will look back on my time here with wonderful memories. I have no doubt that Father John V. Doyle School will continue to grow and thrive, and I hope to be welcomed back to attend future events for many years to come!
With love and prayers,
Mrs. Smith
