Cell Phone Drive
Caraway Innovation Lab is having a smartphone drive to collect gently used phones for a Virtual Reality Excursion experience. Also, if you know of any businesses that provide smartphones to employees, please ask if there are unwanted phones they would like to donate.
All we need is the phone (prefer iPhone 5 or higher or Android 4.1+), battery, and charger if available. The phones should be cleared of all information, apps, etc. and lock codes removed. We will only use the wifi on the phones. Please deliver the phones by March 10th to your child’s teacher. Please email lisa_costello@roundrockisd.org with questions.
Parent Ambassador Program
We are happy to welcome new students and their families to Kathy Caraway Elementary. As newcomers and current parents of students attending Kathy caraway , we understand how exciting and challenging a new home and school can be. With that in mind the school and PTA have created the “Parent Ambassador Outreach Program” to help students and families feel welcome into our community.
This program is dedicated to create partnerships with new and existing families in supporting them with any questions and concerns they might have with the school and the community . It is important to us in Kathy Caraway to provide the tools and information necessary to make this school year a success for our students and their families.
As parents we want our children to strive in school and this increases when we engage with the community. Thats why it is important to partner with the PTA in order to help with all programs that benefit our school, our children, and our community. Parents can volunteer with several school-wide events and programs that are coordinated through PTA in partnership with the school . Among them are our annual Harvest festival, Family dinner night, Giving tree donation drive and many more.
We look forward to meeting each family and working together to make this experience a great one. Remember we are here to help you . If you have any questions please contact us

Family Dinner Night

5:30 and 6:30pm seatings, rain or shine
Join us for Teacher Raffle, Raffle Baskets, Silent Auction, DJ, Food Trucks and more!
Calling all Parents!
Unable to join us on the day of the event? There are many other ways to contribute!
Any unused gift cards and new unused toys laying around? We can use those unused gift cards you have hiding in the drawer for the silent auction! Any new unopened toys leftover from the holidays would really help our raffle baskets. Drop these items on the desk in the PTA room; be sure to write the amount on the back of any gift cards.
Do you have businesses or services that you use regularly? Please let us know and we’ll contact them on your behalf or help you share auction info with them.
Have a vacation place, service or items to donate for silent auction? We would love to hear from you! Please contact Erin Harry or Erica Hardy with donations: carawayfamilydinner@gmail.com
BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR!!!! Wish List Tree for Teachers! Teachers can add an item they need ranging from $15-$150. Don’t have the winning bid for the silent auction? You can still pull a tag from the “wish list tree” and pay for it at silent auction check out desk.
As always, this event is a success due to the attendance and generosity of our Caraway community.
Thank you for supporting Family Dinner Night and our children!
