Below you will find all the details for our quickly approaching practicum. Schedules, checklists, reminders... We hope it will help your preparation for Practicum go more smoothly. PLEASE read the Entire document so you have all the information you need.

Introducing our Speaker: Tim Prussic
Rev. Tim Prussic is the Pastor of Columbia Bible Presbyterian Church in Scappoose Oregon and lives in Saint Helens Oregon with his wife and children. Tim has an extensive knowledge and love for CC. He has directed both Challenge B and Challenge I programs and has children in Foundations, Essentials, and Challenge A.
Tim invites you to join him at our Olympia Practicum where he will strengthen your spirit, help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Classical Model, and engage and equip you with practical tools to help you faithfully walk out the call to homeschool.
Facility Information
We are so thankful for Grace Community Covenant Church for opening their doors to us this year!
We will be taking an offering to show our appreciation for the use of the church facilities.
Registration
Wednesday 8:30 AM
- Follow the Yellow Signs to the Registration Area. Find your correct table.
- Turn in Risk Release Waiver if you are bringing children
- Receive nametags, wristbands & paperwork (the lanyards will be returned on Thursday)
- There will be teens to help you find your way to the correct Camp locations.
Thursday & Friday8:30 AM
- Check your children directly into their camps when you arrive - go enjoy the morning!
Daily Schedule
8:30 a.m. Registration Begins/Bookstore Open/Kids camps open for drop off.
9:00 a.m. General Training Session Begins/Student Camps Begin
12:00-1:00 p.m. Lunch Hour/Bookstore Open at 12:15
(**Parents are responsible for their children during this hour**)
1:00-4:00 p.m. Parent Training/Tutor Training/Student Camps
4:00-4:45 p.m. Bookstore Open

What to Bring Checklist
___Risk-Release Waiver - print, fill out, and bring with you

PARENT SESSIONS
__ Clipboard, folder or binder
__ Writing paper & pen for taking notes

__ Donation for the church if you desire
__ Academic Orientation Materials (if a Tutor/Director)
NURSERY
__ Any baby items needed, in a marked bag
__ A bottle/cup with name clearly marked
PLAYCAMP
__ A snack for morning and for afternoon
__ A cup and drink with name clearly marked
GEODRAW CAMP
__ 2 pencils
__ 2 good erasers
__ A ruler or straight edge
__ A snack & drink for morning and afternoon snack
LOGIC CAMP
__ Pen/Pencil
__ Lined Paper
__ A snack & drink for morning and afternoon
__ "The Fallacy Detective " book is an optional resource for this camp. (This is a required resource for Challenge A.) Limited copies will be available to purchase on the first day of Practicum in the bookstore. They can also be purchased through CC's website .
Pack a picnic lunch!
There is PLENTY of grassy space in the sun or shade for you to eat with your children. (There are several fast food restaurants and a grocery store nearby)
** Pick up your children from camp immediately when the AM session is over.
** Parents are responsible to supervise their children during lunch.
** Please pick up all trash to leave the facility as nice as we found it.

Thursday July 20th at 11:30am in the fireside room.
Enjoy some fellowship and encouragement with other dads.

Joshua Bauer
Joshua has been an army Officer for 15 years and has been married to his beautiful bride, Stacy, for 18 years. They have three children ages 12,11, and 5. Because of their travels, they have had the privilege of belonging to 3 CC communities over the past 5 years.
No need to bring a lunch.

Are you contracted to attend a Program Academic Orientation?
In order to attend training, you must:
1. Have signed a contract and turned it into your director.
2. Your Director must have sent a confirmation of your contract to our Practicum Coordinator, Amy Johnson.
2. Print and sign this document and BRING IT WITH YOU to training. The trainers will collect it from you when you arrive.
You will receive a confirmation email and attached materials in an email from your Trainer by Wednesday, June 7. If you do not receive it, please contact Amy Johnson.
