Car Rider Drop Off Time Adjustment
Now that student drop off has been working fluidly, we are going to move our drop off time to 8:05 AM. The reason is to allow my staff the planning time they are to receive before school starts. If we find that this causes a backup of traffic, we will adjust our times again.
CODE OF CONDUCT (SUSPENDED CURRICULUM)
The Code of Conduct meeting will take place on Thursday August 26th during 2nd period. All teachers will log into this Zoom Link and project the Zoom. This will be a live Zoom with a chat feature. Please do not have students log into the Zoom only teachers. Mr. Light, the Assistant Principals, and Corporal Flynn will be presenting materials during this time. The chat feature will be available for questions from staff and students.
Healthy Student Program
Hello Coyotes,
Nurse Leslie here to let you know about an exciting program CCMS will have this year. The Healthy Student Program is back to help reduce help problems and improve school attendance. Parents a letter is attached explaining the program. The application needs to be filled out, signed for this school year only and returned to the clinic. With a filled out and returned application your student will be able to come to the clinic and get medication for headaches, skin irritations, menstrual cramps, stomachaches and other health problems that can be resolved with over the counter medications. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at lgriffen@pasco.k12.fl.us
Car Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
In order to keep traffic from backing up on Old Pasco Rd, please utilize a snake pattern when dropping off and picking up your student from our school. The snake pattern is labeled with cones and arrows in our parking lot. In addition, we ask that you follow the following procedures for drop-off and pick-up.
Car Drop-off: Students are welcome to enter the school at 8:10am. If you arrive earlier than 8:10am, please remain in your car until a staff member releases the students from the cars at 8:10am. Once drop-off begins, please make sure your student exits the car quickly to ensure everyone gets to school on time.
Car Pick-up: All parents must have their student's first and last name listed on the dash of their car during pick-up. This will enable our staff members to read and call student names so they can exit our gym. If you do not have a tag it will slow down the car line as the staff member will have to ask each family for their student's name.
