NP³ Elementary 2021-2022
Matey Message Week 9 October 11-15
If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.
Dear Matey Families,
Welcome back! We are excited to see our kiddos back to school for the start of quarter two. I hope your family was able to take some time to relax and make some memories. This week may be hard for your students. They will need another week to readjust to their school schedules. Please show them grace as they get back into the swing of things.
NP3 Elementary will spend time this first week back revisiting school/classroom procedures. It is important that the hard work from quarter one continue. The next couple of school months will fly by. The months of October, November, and December are always very exciting in an elementary school. Be on the lookout for more frequent communications from your teachers (around special celebrations in classrooms).
Looking forward to another wonderful quarter!

Due to the shortage of rapid tests, we will only test staff and students who have been identified as close contacts to a positive case on campus. NUSD is offering to test every day from 7 am - 9 am and Tuesdays from 10 am - 4 pm. There are additional testing sites throughout Sacramento County, as well.
If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Baker.
Leader in Me: Circle of Control
This quarter your students will dive deeper into each of Leader in Me's 7 Habits. Habit 1: Be Proactive challenges your student to reflect on what is in their control and what is out of their control. See the attached document to help you practice this at home.
The foundation has been poured! The crew poured the cement our first week of the break. From what I have heard, things will move quick (and then slow down). When you are in the parking lot, take a look!
