Students Learn How To "Model It" At Viking Leadership Academy

The Viking Leadership Academy met for the second time this school year on Wednesday. Students are able to attend this leadership development opportunity during "Howell Time." The goal of the Viking Leadership Academy is to develop leadership abilities and to make Howell an even better place to be. This week's VLA activities focused on the theme "Model It - Connect What You Say With What You Do." Students had the opportunity to take part in activities that focused on getting to know other Vikings in the building. Students also were able to discuss and brainstorm with other Vikings on the following topics:

1.) How do we want to be known as a person?

2.) How do we want to be known as a leader?

3.) How can our R.I.S.E. core values guide the actions we take?

The Viking Leadership Academy (VLA) is looking to continue to grow it's attendance during Howell Time. All students are encouraged to attend this great leadership opportunity. To learn more about VLA and to find out when the next VLA meeting is please follow @FHVikings on Twitter!
