Along with our meeting beginning at noon on Thursday, December 17th, we will be serving a free lunch.

Toy Drive: Please take this opportunity to display your generosity by bringing an item for Casa Hogar, an orphanage in Mexico. Toys and items such as Towels, Beanies, Blankets/sleeping bags, Socks, Toothbrush, Shower sandals, & gloves are welcomed. www.casahogarcabo.com.

Toastmasters Club 382
LAUSD Toastmaster Club 382 supports its members in developing their public speaking and leadership skills. While its location has changed over the years its commitment to provide a supportive environment that welcomes everyone has not wavered. Today, Club 382 meets in the LAUSD Headquarters in downtown Los Angeles. It has been recognized as a President’s Distinguished Club by Toastmasters International due to its outstanding service to its members. Last year alone, four members received Competent Communicator Awards, two members received Advanced Communicator Awards, two members received Leadership Awards, and eleven new members joined the club. Today, LAUSD Toastmasters boasts over 20 high performing, supportive, and committed members. LAUSD is an “open” club that extends membership to employees of LAUSD and the surrounding community.
