πHAPPY NEW YEAR!π
I hope that you have had the time to enjoy having your littles at home and maybe some other family members and friends to spend time and enjoy the holidays. As we prepare to come back to school next Monday, January 8th, we are excited to see what the new year brings for our Wheeler Wildcat family. A busy semester awaits with preparing our students for standardized testing with tutoring sessions and our amazing after school 21st Century Program.
In reflecting about our first semester together, we are nothing but grateful for all your support and participation in all of our school events. The latest one, our 2nd Annual Winter Program, was an amazing success. During our 1st Annual Winter Program in 2022, we realized our school's multipurpose room which hold only a capacity of 132 people was incredibly overcrowded. Regardless we received an incredible amount of positive feedback regarding just having a Winter Program and everything that came with it. The hard work and efforts of our staff and little Wildcat performers did not go unnoticed by our families. This last winter program was outside. While it was an amazing event as well, we continue to find that our school is not appropriately build, nor do we have the tools to host the level of performances and family participation we have at Wheeler. We will be working on having our 3rd Annual Winter Program adjusted to become better every year. Looking forward to the next one, perhaps at a bigger and better venue!
