Cont. of AdvancED
Last week, you were asked to complete an inventory and 3-5 grade teachers were asked to have students complete an inventory for the upcoming AdvancED process. Below are two different links for surveys that now need to be taken. Please have 3rd-5th grade students complete the Elementary School Student Survey and all teachers should complete the Staff Survey below. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT BOTH THESE ITEMS ARE DONE!! I left last weeks links below just in case...all inventories and surveys should be complete by November 9.

**AdvancED Planning for Schools**
In preparation for our AdvancED visit March 31 – April 3, 2019, all certified staff will be involved in the self-evaluation process. During the months of October, November and December, each school will be involved in the evaluation of the school. District leadership and school administrators will be involved of the evaluation of the school system.
ALL 3rd-5th grade STUDENTS should complete the following inventory during the week of October 29-November 2.

ALL Staff should complete the following inventory during the week of October 29-November 2.
Staff Inventory

I challenge each staff member (front office staff, custodians, assistants, teachers, administration, etc.) to choose three students that are not in your class to get to know! Check in on them frequently, give them a high five in the hallway, ask them how they are doing...
For example, Natosha Richardson has chosen a kindergarten student as one of her "Choose 3 Challenge" students. EVERY day Natosha visits Ms. Burnette's room to check in on this little girl. As I listened to this little girl talk today about Ms. Richardson, she lit up when she told me about how Ms. Richardson helps her with her hair each day! It was easy to see the difference this made for this child!
