It's a GREAT day to be a Timberwolf!
To achieve those goals, regular attendance and punctuality are important for children to gain the most from their educational experiences. When your child is tardy, absent, or leaves school early, it will be noted on his or her attendance record.
If your child is going to be absent, please call our office (816-359-4400) before school so we are assured of your child’s safety. If you forget to call, one of our administrative assistants will call you to verify the absence. If a child’s attendance becomes a matter of concern, the classroom teacher, as well as our social worker, Ms. Gayle Laney; or our counselor, Ms. Leslie Andes, may contact the parent or guardian to offer support.
Please try to schedule appointments before or after school. We want our students here as much as possible to maximize their learning opportunities!

Arrival and Dismissal
Please remember that arrival time for Park Hill Elementary school students is between 8:20 and 8:40 am. In order to ensure appropriate supervision each morning, students should not arrive before 8:20 a.m. as teachers are not on duty yet. Classes begin at 8:40 a.m.
Dismissal for walkers, bike riders & Adventure Club takes place first (around 3:27). Once these students have cleared the hallway, we begin car and bus rider dismissal. During dismissal, it is extremely important for parents of car riders to remain in vehicles. Car riders will be called in the order parents are lined up in the two car rider lines in both loops. Please avoid congregating near the entrance of the school as this creates confusion for students. Thank you for following these procedures to support a safe, efficient dismissal each day.
Parent Orientation
Infinite Campus - Parent Portal
Park Hill School District uses Infinite Campus as our student information system. You can
access your child’s essential school information and district information quickly!
This includes Attendance, Grades, Schedule, Bus Information, Technology Fees and School Communications.
To be able to access your child’s information, you must set up an account. You will need to log-in and enter the GUID code, followed by setting up your own username and password.
Infinite Campus organizes students by household, so you can access your family in just one account. If you have questions, need technical support, or have misplace your unique access key code, feel free to call us at 816-359-4400.
Student Dress
Families should use good judgment in choosing clothes appropriate for school. Clothing which may cause a distraction from the learning process is not permitted. Clothing such as “short” shorts, see-through shirts or blouses, halter tops, spaghetti strap tops, t-shirts with inappropriate printing, clothing advertising drugs or alcohol, or clothing that does not cover the midriff are not allowed. Roller skate shoes are not to be worn to school. Tennis shoes should be worn on P.E. days. Refer to the student handbook or PHSD Board Policy JFCA for more detailed information.
** Flip-flops & other backless sandals are strongly discouraged, since they can pose a danger on stairs and on the playground.**
