Most Romans wore the same color except the Emperors.
What the Roman's wore.
The clothing that the Roman's wore are called Togas and Tunics. They were made from a single length of woolen cloth.
Most of the people wore white. Only Emperors wore different color, purple.
Calcei was the outdoor shoe made from soft leather that covered the toes. They were made by fixing strips of leather to a tough leather or cork base.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Romans attire was mainly just yards of white fabric draped around their bodies. The Emperor wore purple colored togas to stand out among the crowds. The shoes were made of leather and cork and could last for a long time.
