Business Day

In order to ease the transition back to school and reduce some of the time associated with preparing for the upcoming school year, you are invited to join us for our annual Business Day event on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Attending this event will earn your family its first service hour for the 2019-20 school year! We look forward to serving you and making things a little easier as we approach another exciting academic year.

2019-2020 Academic Calendar

Visit our website at pp.franklin-academy.org or click on the link below to download the academic calendar for 2019-20. Students will begin school on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. The academic calendar includes a two-week winter break beginning December 23, 2019 and a one-week spring break beginning March 23, 2020. The last day of school for students is Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

Online Registration

The Online Annual Registration Update is available online and awaiting responses from families who indicated their intent to return to Franklin for the 2019-20 school year. The online annual registration update is a required step in securing your child's seat for the 2019-20 school year.


How do you get started?

Visit https://ps.franklin-academy.org/public/ or click on the link below to sign in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. From the Parent Portal:

  1. Select the student you wish to register along the top
  2. Select the InfoSnap 19-20 Student Registration
  3. Enter the child's date of birth

FranklinPass Stickers

As a reminder, all families should keep their existing FranklinPass stickers affixed to their vehicle windshield as they will continue to work for the 2019-20 school year. New FranklinPass stickers are issued only to new families. Additional FranklinPass stickers are available for purchase at the front desk.

Carpool Registration

All 2018-2019 registered carpools will be wiped from the system. All families wishing to participate in our carpool program for the 2019-20 school year are required to visit the school together to register the carpool for the upcoming school year. Remember to bring your existing key fob so that it may be reprogrammed. Visit the link below for additional details.

National School Lunch Program Registration

The National School Lunch Program Registration is available online and accepting applications for families to enter their information at https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application on our website. Any questions in reference to the free or reduced meal program can be addressed via email at lunch@franklin-academy.org, by telephone at 954-317-1367 or online assistance is provided during the online application process.

SLA Meal Information

Questions or issues about lunch payment or registering in Lunchtime with SLA Management should be addressed via email at online@slamgmt.com or by telephone 407-740-7677.

Fee Payments

Personal checks are now accepted as payment for the 2019-20 school year and may be applied to new and past due balances for your child's account.

School Supply Lists

School supply lists for the 2019-20 school year are available! Families with students in grades K-5 who purchased school supply packs from EPI will have their supplies delivered directly to their child’s classroom at the beginning of the school year.

Final Report Cards

Final report cards for students in grades K-8 will be sent electronically to our families. Physical copies will be available for pick up during our Business Day event on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Please visit our campus between 8am and 4pm during Business Day to collect your child's final report card for the 2018-19 school year.

State Standardized Test Scores

To access your child's 2019 state standardized test scores, please visit the Virtual Counselor application at http://bcps.browardschools.com/VirtualCounselor/ and follow the steps below.


  1. Login as the "Student"
  2. Username: Your child's Broward County Student ID with a leading zero (0) (0#########)
  3. Password: Use Student Birthday in this format: MM/DD/YYYY with /
