Middle School Math
5th-8th Weekly Schedule
Dear middle school families,
Hello,
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Please see assignments for the week below (Subject to Change). Please feel free to email me at christine.gonzalez@merryhillschool.com if you have any questions.
All the best,
Mrs. Gonzalez
Reminders of class policies:
*Important policy change for the fourth quarter for grades 6-8; In order to instill the value of responsibility and growth within our students, late work will no longer be accepted in the fourth quarter. If a student has an excused absence, they have the number of days absent to make up work. Students are encouraged to track their progress on Schoology and Alma.
5th grade
*If your student is absent they will have as many days as they are absent to turn in assignments. For example, if your student is absent for two class periods in math they have two class periods to turn in the assignments or makeup a test.
*If assignments are turned in late, your student will lose 10% off each day the assignment is turned in late. For example, if your student turns in an assignment two class periods late they will lose 20% off the assignments overall grade.
*If your student receives a low grade on an assignment or test, your student is able to correct each problem and receive half credit for each corrected problem to earn a better overall grade on that assignment or test. For example, if your student receives a D on an assignment their overall grade may improve for that assignment or test if they make corrections for the problems done incorrectly.
