K-8 Campuses
1. A student who tests positive for COVID:
A student must stay home for 5 days and can return to school with a mask for 5 days.
An email will be sent to the parents from the principal with each positive case of Covid in the classroom.
2. A student living with a parent or family member who tests positive for COVID, and the student is fully vaccinated:
The student can come to school as long as they are symptom free (mask optional since they are vaccinated).
Parents must monitor the student each morning and each evening for symptoms, for 10 days.
3. A student living with a parent or family member who tests positive for COVID, and the student is unvaccinated:
The student can come to school but must wear a mask for a total of 10 days, (we recommend a covid test on day 5... if they are positive refer to #1, if they are negative they may be in school with a mask for five more days)
Parents must monitor the student each morning and each evening for symptoms, for 10 days.
4. A student who has been a close contact to someone outside of the home/school setting (sports/dance/scouts etc.): and HCA has been informed of the positive Covid case
Parents must monitor the student each morning and each evening for symptoms, for 10 days. The student can attend school as long as they are symptom free.
The coach/instructor is responsible to inform the parents of the positive case (we can give a format letter to the coach/instructor if needed)
5. A student who is positive for Covid and returns to school days 6-10, will sit at a special table to eat lunch and remain 6ft apart.
6. An unvaccinated student that has a positive case in their direct household and has returned to school day 6-10, may sit at a regular lunch table
7. Staff members who tests positive:
Must stay at home for 5 days and return with a mask for 5 days. Staff must also eat alone or at least 6 feet apart.
Staff members can use 5 COVID related illness days.
8. Allow students that have been positive for Covid to have a mask break at recess, however they must remain 6 feet apart from students or teachers
ECEC Campus:
1. Child tests positive:
Child stays home for 10 days (since they don't mask properly and play side by side, there is a need to stay home the full 10 days)

3. Direct household member test positive and the child is fully vaccinated:
