Principally Speaking

The ILearn testing window opens next week and we will begin testing on Monday. It is important that all students come to school rested, fed, and with a positive mindset. Please do all you can to help us with our students coming to school ready to do their best.

We are confident that we have prepared our students well, and all they have to do now is show what they know. Please have a discussion with your students regarding the importance of their effort. This assessment is not only important to the school in terms of the state of Indiana grading our school, but it is also used as an important data point for student placement in enrichment or intervention classes.

It is always best for students to attempt to answer questions even if they are not sure of the answer. We encourage our students to use the acronym CUBES to assist them with math word problems and ACE or RACE to formulate a written response. Ask your students what those acronyms mean.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. Have a blessed weekend!
