2021-2022, Part 7

Please read through our newsletter for information on the following:

  • Parent/Teacher Conferences: Oct. 20-21
  • No School Friday, Oct. 22nd

PSAT Day: Wed. Oct. 13th

All West Ada sophomore students will be taking the PSAT this Wednesday, October 13th. There will be a small number of juniors that will also be taking this test at the same time. Because we use our teachers to proctor this test, all other 9th, 11th, and 12th-grade students will be completing schoolwork remotely via their Class Teams. This high school test day does not change elementary or middle school schedules.

Those students taking the test that ride a bus to school will still have transportation provided for them; however, they will be dropped back off at home earlier than normal.

We will also be utilizing this day to provide intervention time for specific students in need that will be identified by teachers. ELA teachers will be reaching out to individual students/parents to attend.

October 13th will still be a Late Start Wednesday. FREE breakfast and lunch will be provided at the school.

  • 7:15 am Doors open; Students head to assigned classroom.
  • 7:45 am Students must be in assigned rooms by this time.
  • 8:00 am Test begins; late students will not be admitted into room to test.
  • 12:00 am Approximate time students will be finished. (This could be slightly earlier or later.)

Students will receive more information regarding the room they are assigned and what to bring with them. Please click below for additional information.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

RMHS Parent/Teacher conferences will be held virtually during the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, October 20th: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Thursday, October 21st: 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Teachers will hold the conferences via a Teams meeting or phone conference based on parent preference. A sign-up link will be sent out at the end of the school day on Wednesday, October 13th.

Please remember, parents and students are able to communicate with teachers through e-mail/phone message at any time. If you have concerns now, you do not need to wait for the conferences to reach out.

We would appreciate if those parents whose students are struggling in classes be given top priority in scheduling. If your student is not one of these and you would like to have a conference, please consider waiting until Thursday or Friday to sign up.

No School Friday, October 22nd!!
