Support The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools in Give Ozarks

The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is participating in Give Ozarks 2016 event, a 24-hour online fundraising marathon taking place on May 3, 2016.

About 200 Ozarks nonprofit agencies are participating in this event to raise both money and awareness of philanthropy in our region. The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools will raise funds for 2016 Back to School grants. The Back to School grant application process is now underway and the deadline is June 17. Awards for Back to School grants will be made in September.

You can support our effort by making a secure donation at anytime from midnight to midnight on May 3, 2016. The Foundation will have the opportunity to win cash prizes throughout the day.

To view a video on how to donate please click on this link: To set up your Give Ozarks account in advance go here:

All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS and we welcome gifts of any amount from $5 and up. Give Ozarks is one of dozens of crowdsourced nonprofit online fundraising marathons being hosted by community foundations across the nation on May 3, which is Give Local America Day.

The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is an Agency Partner with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, which is hosting Give Ozarks along with presenting sponsor BKD Wealth Advisors; platinum sponsors, The Musgrave Foundation, The Commerce Trust Co./Coover Charitable Foundation and Ron and Janice Penney; and numerous other sponsors.

Sequiota Elementary

Sequiota is a hidden treasure on the southeast side of Springfield! Over the last 50 years, Sequiota has changed in appearance but the values remain the same. We recently gathered to celebrate 50 years of education, success, community and family! Sequiota is a school where students come first and are at the heart of every decision made. Sequiota is home to some of the BEST families in Springfield! Sequiota would not have the ability to do all that it does without the support of our PTA. The Sequiota PTA truly has the students best interest at heart and serves as a huge foundation of Sequiota Elementary School. If you are looking for a school with a small community feel, you have come to the right place. At Sequiota, we are not just a school, we are a family that supports one another and collaborates to provide the BEST education possible for our students.
