What does the mitochondria do?
The mitochondria provides energy to the cell. Inside the mitochondria it stores energy and foods is converted for use in a cell.
Importance of the mitochondria
If the mitochondria is working properly. Then it is creating a lot of energy and then some more. It helps the cell stay active in doing it cell like things. Without the mitochondria working properly nothing else in the cell will be working.
What happens if the mitochondria doesn't work
The cell feels drained
Lack of energy
Other parts of the cell stops working
