Gayman Elementary will participate in a week-long fundraiser from Monday, January 14th – Friday, January 18th. Throughout the week, students are encouraged to bring coins or bills to school to support this cause. Please focus on family and close friends for donations.

Get Ready to Look at the Night Sky!
On Sunday night, January 20th, beginning at about 10:30PM, the eastern portion of North America will see a Lunar Eclipse. A total lunar eclipse will occur at 11:30PM and will potentially be a copper-colored moon, also known as a "Blood Moon". For our 3rd grade students studying astronomy - the timing couldn't be more perfect!

Kids Care Club and MLK Day
Kids Care Club and the MLK committee are teaming up this January to bring you a special MLK Volunteer event!
We will be doing 2 projects in honor of this special day! First, we will be making Jared Boxes for children at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. A Jared Box is a plastic storage box filled with small gifts used to create a diversion for young patients in the hospital as they receive chemotherapy and other medical treatments. Second, we will be assembling snack bags for the Bucks County Housing Group. The snack bags provide a weeks worth of snacks for kids.
There is a donation bin outside the old main office entrance. For items to fill the Jared boxes You can look at the suggested toy list at www.thejaredbox.com. To register your child for this special service event, CLICK HERE.
Thank you for supporting those in need!
Community Connections
On Wednesday, January 23rd from 6:00-7:00 PM, Dr. Kopicki will present “Community Connections,” one of a series of parent meetings scheduled to take place in each of our schools. This meeting is a conversation about our shared vision for the future of our schools. A video introduction can be seen here: Community Connections page.
