Important Information
Lunch Numbers
- If your child does not know their lunch number please have them continue to practice them at home. These lunch numbers are not only important in the cafeteria but they are also are how they log into their computers.
Supplies
- At this point in the school year your child's pencil box is getting pretty bare. We use crayons almost every day. They are all worn down and broken. Please ask your child if they are in need of a new box of crayons. Also, if you are able to send in extra boxes it would be greatly appreciated!
Clorox Wipes
- So many germs are going around the school! We are doing all we can to help your children stay healthy. We are in need of clorox wipes so that we can easily sanitize student desks and other surfaces.
Reading Assessments
- All of the first grade teachers are still working to complete all the first graders mid year reading assessments. This is a long process. We ask that you are making sure that your child is getting a good nights rest each night, so they are able to do their absolute best! Also, it is very important that your child is at school each day! These reading assessments are a series of test and they are all done one different days. We must complete all of these assessments in the window we are given. It is extremely important that your child is present!
Reading Homework
- It is very important that your child does their reading homework each night. This is a quick homework assignment, but it really helps them to practice on their reading level at home. It is also a great way of knowing what reading level your child is working at!
Sick Policy
- If your child gets sick at school (throwing up) they must stay out of school for 24 hours after their last time getting sick. Also if your child has a fever they must be 24 hours fever free before returning to school. We want to keep everyone healthy!
