Not all Superheroes Wear Capes

Weekly News

What a busy week! Jeanette and I enjoyed spending time with Lyon students and staff. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to assist with the BBQ and assembly. I can't wait for the sock hop and Root Beer Floats when we meet our October attendance goal.

As we progress forward, please let us know what support you need. I encourage you to lean on instructional specialists now that you are getting to know your students and have a grasp on each student's strengths and weaknesses.

Let us know if you need us to attend any parent teacher conferences, or early release times. We will be happy to help!

  • Grades need to be entered no later than midnight on Sunday, Oct. 18

2 Stars and a Wish

Stars:

  • Data is being collected in focus areas of writing and math
  • Conversations regarding GLIPs are causing a clearer grade level focus within early release

Wish:

  • After collecting data, go one step further...create next steps. Ask: What is one thing the data tells me? Then create a plan to address one area.
