Brooker Creek Elementary
Hello Brooker Creek Families,
It has been a busy week at school while we wrap up our first semester. Last night we hosted Ready, Set Kindergarten for next year's incoming Kindergarteners. It was enjoyable to see the excitement on the faces of our new families virtually. Also, last night, Mrs. Livingston attended the Kids Tag Art virtual art show and Brooker Creek artists shined again. We had three Awards of Excellence winners, two Sponsor Choice Award winners, and our very own Mrs. Livingston took 1st place in the county for Teacher Tag. It was a great night all around!
With the new semester approaching, we have some changes happening next week. For those families making a change to their child's learning option for the second semester, please review the attachment below if you are returning to campus for the first time this year. For families returning to MyPCS for learning, please know that we will be making the schedule change over the weekend so that students are able to connect through Canvas to their new class on Wednesday. If you should have any questions, please call us at school.
I hope that you enjoy the long weekend ahead before we start the second semester. Remember that there is no school for students on Monday, January 18th, or on Tuesday, January 19th. Monday the school is closed but Tuesday we will be open should you need to contact us by phone.

We are continuing to ask our BCE families to preorder meals when possible. When parents spend a few minutes pre-ordering their child’s lunch, it allows our cafe team to plan ahead. These forms allow us to break the meals out by the teacher and have them ready when the students come into the lunchroom and reduce the amount of time they have to spend in line.
