Happy Fall!
Benefits Open Enrollment Coming Soon!
Open Enrollment Window: SPS’s annual Open Enrollment for 2020 begins Monday, October 28, 2019 through 5PM on Friday, November 15, 2019. During this time, it is mandatory that all employees log into SmartBen to acknowledge/confirm benefit elections. If an employee needs to make changes to their current benefits, they may do so during this time. This includes new hires for the 2019-2020 school year who recently enrolled in their new-hire benefits. This is the only time to make changes to your benefit elections unless you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). Our Benefits Team will be available at KAC and at designated sites during Open Enrollment.
To review your current benefit elections, access the SmartBen Portal by logging in at https://sps.smartben.net/ using your SmartBen login information. Your User ID is your SPS Employee Number +SPS (ex: 12345SPS). Your password is the last 4 digits of your social security number, followed by SPS (ex: 9477SPS). You will log in the same way once Open Enrollment begins (October 28) to confirm or update your benefit elections (effective January 1, 2020).
You will be receiving an email from SmartBen (Hodges-Mace), mailgun@mg.smartben.com, with the subject line indicating SPS Open Enrollment with additional information.
