Piedmont Tech Update

NCTies Edition

Piedmont Represents @ NCTies

Piedmont Middle and High were well represented during my session, Classroom 2.0. I had a lot of fun sharing all the great work our teachers have done in the Piedmont cluster. Afterward I received many compliments because my session included real classroom examples and video testimonials created by our teachers and students.

I was also able to highlighted our school system’s 1:1 Access Model and how it’s been transformed by the 23,000 Chromebooks that were issued to students in the fall. Google Apps for Education has transformed teaching in Union County Schools and Piedmont is at the forefront of that change! I feel, together, we are finally preparing our students for the jobs of tomorrow.

Classroom 2.0: Thank you teachers!
