Transition Focus & Restroom Procedures for Remainder of School Year
Reinforce the expectations for transitioning off & onto your grade level hallway during homeroom and throughout the day this week. Remember, lines are straight, silent and to the right when moving to & from electives, lunch, HAC and classroom bathroom breaks. Also, all scholars are to be escorted to the restroom and water fountains. To support safety and order this week, do not send scholars out of your classroom unsupervised and without an escort. If you have any questions about the transition expectations please don't hesitate to contact your grade level administrator or myself.
Relevant & Purposeful Post Test Instruction for 5/30-6/09
Yearbooks Have Arrived
Yearbooks have arrived and will be distributed to scholars who have pre-paid for their yearbooks on Monday. Scholars who would like to purchase yearbooks may do so at our school store during breakfast & lunch Tuesday-Friday or until yearbooks are sold out. The cost of the yearbooks are $15.00.
Community Meeting Focus for this week.
As we come to our final week of school we will focus on our core values of summer safety and summer education opportunities. The discussion questions for each day are located below.
Monday- What is summer learning loss and what can be done to reduce it?
Tuesday- Why do some scholars suffer more summer learning loss than others?
Wednesday- If you could attend two camps this summer, what type of camps would you
attend and why?
Thursday- What do you need to do this summer to not be behind your peers academically
when you return to school in August?
Friday- Write out your summer plans outlining how you will ensure that you get rest, learn new
information and have fun in a safe way.
