Science Fair Procedures
Bring Projects to School on February 22nd or 23rd:
1. Projects may be brought to school on WEDNESDAY evening, February 22nd, from 4:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
2. If needed, projects may be brought to school on THURSDAY, February 23rd from 7:45 A.M. until 8:10 A.M. If you arrive before 8:10 A.M. children may not stay in the building after the project is dropped off.
3. Please enter through the old main entrance doors and you will be directed as to where to take your child’s project.
4. Please label the project with Name(s), Teacher(s), and Grade(s). Extra label stickers will be available.
Evening Visitation on Thursday, February 23rd:
1. Doors will open at 5:25 P.M. The science fair will take place from 5:30 until 7:00.
2. Parking will be available in the back of the school (enter through door #14 at the end of the 5th grade wing). You can also park in the front parking area as well (enter through the old main entrance).
3. Children must be accompanied and monitored by an adult while viewing the science fair projects. Participants may walk around and enjoy the Fair. It is not necessary to stand by your project all evening.
4. Science fair projects will be displayed in the All-Purpose Room, Stage, and the Library.
Returning Projects Home on February 23rd or 24th:
1. Parents are encouraged to take the projects home at the conclusion of the fair on THURSDAY evening.
2. Additional pick up times include FRIDAY, February 24th between 7:45 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Projects must be picked up by a parent. The school will not be responsible for projects left at the school after 4:00 P.M. FRIDAY, February 24th.

New Logo Contest For Central Bucks School District
The Central Bucks School District is redesigning their logo and website for a fresh, contemporary look. The district is holding a logo design contest open to all Central Bucks students, K-12. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship. The deadline is March 3rd at 8 AM.

Kindergarten Celebrates 100th Day
Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100 year olds. Our little centenarians had a ball celebrating all they’ve learned so far this year. The highlight of the day was practicing random number recognition by hunting for 100 hidden Hershey Kisses in the classroom.

6th Grade Club Event At Philly Sports Club
Please join your classmates for a night of fun at the Philly Sports Club. Events include: Laser tag, Hip Hop, Inflatable jousting, floor hockey, dodgeball & soccer!
This is for Gayman 6th Graders only; we have the Club reserved just for our group. 6th Graders will rotate thru each of the events. Please fill out this form and the Philly Sports Club waiver that is below. Checks should be made out to Gayman Home & School Assoc. - GHSA for $18.
Please sign up by Feb. 15th this deadline is requested by PSC for staffing purposes & need list of participants with waivers. The activities will be run by PSC.

Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids Benefit Concert
The CB East Patriot Players will once again host a BCEFA Benefit Concert on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00pm in the East auditorium. East, South, West, Holicong, Tamanend and Lenape will present selections from their spring musicals: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Big Fish, Catch Me If You Can, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Disney’s Aladdin Jr., Once Upon a Mattress.
In addition, there will be a silent auction of Broadway memorabilia. Admission is $5, and tickets will only be available at the door on the night of the show.

Boomerang Award
This year, Gayman will continue to accept nominations for the Boomerang Award, which is our way of honoring students who best demonstrate their own developmental assets. What are Developmental Assets? Students possessing a combination of “40 Assets” are typically most successful in school and in life. These assets have the power to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults. For a complete listing of the 40 Developmental Assets visit: www.
