Family Focus
This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.
This weeks Family focus: We have learned about things plants need to survive. A great idea would be to get some type of seeds and plant it. As a family read about the best conditions for that type of plant and take care of it. Send pictures to your students teacher showing the process of planting and watching it grow.
Academics
Reading:We will be discussing different types of media and the purpose.
ELA: Students will be learning about Homophones- words that sound the same, spelled different and have different meanings.
Math: Students will determine and measure objects using centimeter and meters.
Science: Students will discuss the basic needs of plants and animals
