NEW START TIMES FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR
Starting in the 2023-24 school year, Jeffco Public Schools will implement new start and end times for schools across the District, including ours. The Healthy and Equitable Start Times initiative for next school year is expected to increase efficiency and reliability of transportation and create consistency in instructional time to best serve all students and families. Next year, our school day will begin at 7:45am and end at 2:45pm.
At Eiber, we know this will create many challenges for our families; however, over the next several months, we will continue to work to find viable solutions that will help minimize the impact for families and students.
We understand that change can be hard. We hope that by providing you with the updated start and end times well in advance of the 2023-24 school year, your family will be able to be better supported through the transition and put plans in place for next year. Visit the District’s Equitable & Healthy Start and End Times webpage to learn more. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

Family Engagement News
Hello Eiber families!
Our December newsletter from The Parent Institute is now available and contains some great information that will help support student learning at home. Please take some time to read through the attached newsletter for some great tips that will help you provide a positive impact on your student's achievement. We will send out this newsletter monthly so please keep an eye out for it!
Help your child do well in school by trying a new idea every day! Here are a some suggestions on things you can try with your child every day to help them do well in school!
- Look for a community service project your family can do together
- Have your child teach you about something the class is learning. It's a great way to reinforce learning
- Talk to your child about holiday traditions in other cultures. Find a book about holidays to read together
- Don't forget that reading to your child or having your child read to you every night will help their reading skills tremendously! Check out the local library if you need some new books to read!
We hope to see you at our Holiday Family Night! Please reach out to me if you are interested in volunteering at the event!
