Habit 4 - Think Win-Win

Have a Plan

In December, as a Leader in Me school, we will be focusing on Think Win-Win. Think Win-Win is the belief that everyone can win. It’s not me or you—it is both of us. It is a belief that there are enough good things for everyone; it is an abundant way of thinking. Think Win-Win is being happy for others when good things happen to them. As a parent, not everything is negotiable, but if you go into discussions with your child with a win-win mindset, you’ll find a lot less resistance.

Playground Expectations

As winter approaches, please help us review rules on the playground with your student. Students will need to leave the snow on the ground. Building a snowman is allowed, but snowball are not allowed. We also do not allow playing on the ice. General reminders for your students include no physical contact on the playground.

It's Cold Outside

Please send a coat, gloves, and a hat to school with your child. Students will play outside and we will have recess outside everyday the temperature is 20 degrees or higher.

If your family is unable to provide a coat for your child, please contact our counselor, Jessica Adamson.

Zonar Cards

Please remind your child to take extra care of their Zonar card. If students lose their card or lanyard, they will be charged $1.00 for a new card and $2.00 for a new lanyard.
