The Great Christian Schism

Icons (West)
In the Roman Catholic Church the people used icons to trigger their memory of who the pope is speaking about.
No Icons (East)
In the Eastern Orthodox Church the people used to believe that the icons were being worshiped, not the person they are suppose to be worshiping, so icons were banned from their church for a while.
Latin (West)
Many of the worship ideas in the west church came from the Romans (hence the name ROMAN Catholic Church), and the Romans came from the Latins, like most countries.
Greek (East)
Many of the worship ideas for the Eastern Orthodox Church came from the Greeks.
