SMS Color Day is Friday, May 26th. Please send students to school with a labeled and refillable water bottle, sunblock, and wearing the color clothing that represents their team color. The rain date for this event is Wednesday, May 31st. Also, Color Day water station volunteers are needed. If you are able to help out on Color Day, please use this link to sign-up!

Summer Counseling

Aldersgate Counseling Services will offer counseling sessions over the summer with in-person and virtual appointments available without a waitlist. If the cost of these sessions is prohibitive, the School District of Springfield Township may be able to help. Suicide Prevention Presentations

SDST is very excited to announce that Springfield Township has contracted with Kevin Hines to share his inspiring message and presentation, "Cracked Not Broken" with our Middle School and High School students and the community at large on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Mr. Hines is a suicide prevention speaker and storyteller who gained fame after attempting suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. He now shares his story and message of hope, healing, and recovery. The district will offer 3 presentations on Thursday, May 25th:


  • 10:00 am - High School
  • 1:45 pm - Middle School
  • 5:30 pm - Community
