Bank of America Student Leaders Summer Program for current Juniors and Seniors
Student Leaders is an eight‐week summer experience for high school juniors and seniors. The program includes a paid internship with a local nonprofit organization as well as the Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C., July 25-30, 2022. The program gives students the opportunity to develop and apply leadership skills through hands‐on community work while discovering their own talents for serving their community and leading others. USC Aiken College of Science and Engineering
We have a great opportunity for your CyberPatriot Clubs! Our partner, SANS.edu, is hosting our first ever “Capture the Flag” for our students on Feb. 4-5, 2022. Check out the attached flyer for more information. This is a fun activity that allow your high school students to engage with the world leader in cyber education for professionals. It will also be a great chance for these students to check out how we partner with SANS.edu with their SANS undergraduate certificate in cybersecurity.
There will be a CyberSecurity Class at LTC next semester.
Archibald Rutledge Scholarship - $2,000
ARCHIBALD SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY (CREATIVE WRITING - DANCE - MUSIC - THEATRE - VISUAL ARTS)

To compete, students should submit an original and two copies of the original composition and process folio for the creative writing, dance, music, or theatre categories. For the visual arts category, mail one original composition and a process folio.
Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. or postmarked on or before Monday, February 21, 2022.
Army ROTC Scholarships
Army ROTC provides full tuition and fees (or $10K for room and board) scholarships to over 2000 high school students each year. In addition to the tuition and fees, the scholarship pays $1,200 annually for books and a stipend of $420 per month (for up to 10 months a year.)
Below are links to give you an overview of the Army ROTC program. The March 2 Success Program is a resource to prepare for college and taking the ACT/SAT.

Christian - Connector, Inc. - $2,500
A Free online Christian College Scholarship Resource Program allows students to search for the different types of scholarships that are of interest. Students can log onto www.christianconnector.com to request information and automatically be entered in the $2,500 scholarship drawing.

Clemson Lyceum Scholars Program - up to $10,000
LYCEUM SCHOLARS PROGRAM
First and only university-based academic program dedicated to exploring the moral, political, and economic foundations of a free society. THE COLLEGE PLAN - $250
Student must be accepted into an accredited college, university or technical school. Drawing will be held by April 1st for the upcoming year. Culinary Institute of America Early Application Grant - $1,000
Take hold of your future! If you are interested in enrolling in our Fall 2022 New York campus, there’s no better time to apply than right now. You'll receive an expedited admission decision, automatically be reviewed for scholarships, and qualify for our special $1,000 CIA Early Application Grant.

DISCOVER STUDENT LOANS - $5,000 (12)
Scholarships are geared toward seniors of the United States and who are planning to attend college next school year. Students can get tips and resources on paying for college and enter for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship. FRANCIS MARION DARLA MOORE SCHOLARSHIP -
To be eligible to become a Darla Moore Scholar, students must be SC residents, enrolling in full-time studies, and demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA, with family income generally not exceeding $75,000. The scholarship is primarily, but not exclusively, geared toward students who will be the first in their family to attend college. Must maintain 2.7 GPA while at FMU.

HARRY HAMPTON AND WALLACE F. PATE SCHOLARSHIPS - APPLY FOR BOTH BUT CAN ONLY BE AWARDED ONE
These scholarships are for students in the natural resources disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.

This scholarship is for students who wish to further their education in law enforcement/criminal justice/forensic science. Pre-medical curricula on a path to forensic medicine does Not qualify for this scholarship.

HARRY HAMPTON JAMES O. THOMASON SCHOLARSHIP - 4 YR $2,000
This scholarship is for students who wish to further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations or mass communications.

James F. Byrnes Scholarship - $18,000/4 yrs.
Average or above-average students who have lost one or both parents by death; plan to attend 4 year college; must have received their SAT/ACT scores (prior to submitting the application); financial need; applications are available online at www.byrnesscholars.org. It is recommended that students type the application online, print and forward the hard copy in their completed application packet.

JOHN F. KENNEDY - THE PROFILE IN COURAGE ESSAY CONTEST - $100-$10,000
Write an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in Courage.

LEXINGTON CHAMBER DORIS BURKETT SCHOLARSHIP - $5,000
This award is based on need, moral integrity, and potential of individual to be productive citizen; complete application, essay, recommendations and transcript. This scholarship is for the “underdog” who needs a little help to reach success and who may be overlooked for scholarships from other organizations. This scholarship is for a student with a grade point average of 3.5 or less who demonstrates a strong work ethic and the potential to succeed.

NAFEPA National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators - (4) $2,500
NAFEPA Scholarship Program is offering two scholarships for students pursuing degrees in education. The other two scholarships may be awarded to applicants pursuing degrees in education or any other field. Information about the scholarship and how to apply can be found in the scholarship drawer in the Counseling Department.

NAVY ROTC SCHOLARSHIP - $180,000
Earn a 4 year scholarship with no obligation to the Navy until your sophomore year. Program completion and graduation will result in Commissioning in the US Navy. A 5 year minimum active duty obligation as a naval officer is required. Must be at least 17 years of age and not older than 23 with a combined SAT Score of 1150 and a score of 22 in the ACT or Top 10% of Graduation Class. Wellmore of Lexington, a retirement community located here in Lexington, is offering this writing competition. Silver Pen is an opportunity to bridge the communication gap between younger and older generations. Essay Topic is: Over 300,000 students study abroad each year.
