A Message from the Principals
Despite the rain, we have been enjoying the weeks leading up to spring break. The tables were turned on our staff and the job of hunting eggs has been theirs. The students have enjoyed spotting eggs and helping keep the secret.
We are super excited to be welcoming parents back into the building next week for spring parties. We are starting small and hoping to expand the number of volunteers for our next celebration. Please remember that all visitors must bring a government-issued photo identification. We kindly ask that you do not park in a numbered space. There are a few visitor parking spots in the main lot, and parking is permitted along Conrow Road and at the church.
Spring break begins on Friday, April 15th and school will reopen Monday, April 25th. There is a single session on Thursday, April 28th.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy

A Special Message from the Student Principal for the Day
When students earn enough Cub Coins, they can choose to spend time with Mrs. Lowe or Mrs. Murphy. I chose to be principal for a day because when I was playing school, I was the principal and I thought it might be fun to save cub coins to be the principal. My favorite thing about school is that the teachers are kind. My favorite special is library because I get to take out books. I also like math and I enjoy having the choice of where to sit and the tools to use to help me. I am really excited for the spring party next week.
Have a good weekend.

Spring Party Drop-Off - Monday, April 11th - 9:30-11:45
If you have volunteered to bring in any items for an upcoming spring party, they are to be dropped off on Monday, April 11th between 9:30-11:45. Food items have to be from the safe-snack list. This list can be found on Millbridge’s website. However, if the room liaison or chosen volunteer wants to bring in food the day of the party, that is fine. The drop-off location for any party donations will be at the gym doors closest to the cafeteria. There will be several staff members to greet you and accept any donations you may have. Please have the items labeled with your child’s classroom number. This will help in the delivery process. Please DO NOT drop any items off at the main office, they will NOT be accepted. We look forward to celebrating with your child. Thank you for your donation!

Parent Pick-Up
We respectfully ask that individuals who are picking up students are mindful of the conversations that they are having and the language that is being used while waiting to pick up their child or children.
Please do not take photos of other people who are in line or of the students. If you encounter a problem, please let a staff member on duty know so it can be addressed immediately.
After signing your child or children out, we'd appreciate it if your child stays with you and that you leave the school grounds. Our staff who is not assisting with pick-up are focused on ensuring that the buses are loaded and depart quickly and safely at the end of the day.
We appreciate your assistance with these issues.

Become an Observer in Canvas
If you have not already done so, please be sure to become an observer for your child(ren) in Canvas. The information below is from the district's webpage and will help you become a co-observer. If you have multiple children, you will be able to see everything for them in one place. Teachers will be providing a weekly overview for parents and notes for the week in Canvas.
To enable co-enrollment (observer) in Canvas K-12 your student will need to generate a pairing code and you will need to link the account. A parent may pair (link) to multiple children in the same parent (observer) account.
You will need to set up the pairing through a web browser like Chrome. You cannot enable pairing or observing through the parent app.
Co-enrollment means you can view grades, upcoming assignments and due dates, missing work, and teacher communication.
Teachers can send individual, group, and course-wide messages to students and parents.
Once you're co-enrolled, you'll want to set-up your notification preferences. Click here for instructions on setting up your notification preferences.
