The Positivity Project Strength of the Week: Creativity
Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students will have the chance to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. This is a great opportunity to help students improve their spelling and increase their vocabulary. If you would like for your child to participate, fill out the attached link by Friday, November 1st. We will send home the study guide with your child. Contact Sarah Radford at 936-709-1700 if you have any questions.

Nominations for Gifted and Talented Testing
Nominations are now open for Conroe ISD Gifted and Talented program. Although the testing will not take place until the end of January, nominations are accepted from October 1- December 19th. Nominations can be made by the parents and/or teachers. It is recommended that parents of 2nd grade students wait until CogAT scores have arrived before nominating their child because CogAT scores are part of the GT assessment. If you are interested in nominating your child, you may want to discuss this with your child’s teacher at conferences. Nominations will be accepted no later than December 19, 2019. Please see the attachment for the nomination form and submit it to our GT coordinator, Sarah Radford at email@example.com. Paper forms can also be turned into the front office.
