Megan M. H. Brown
School Library Intern
GREETINGS TRINITY EPISCOPAL SCHOOL FACULTY & STAFF
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to all of you. For the next nine weeks I will be completing an internship/practicum in the school library with Ms. McCarthy. I have really enjoyed meeting many of you over the last two weeks, and I hope this digital flyer provides you with a better idea of who I am.
WHY AN INTERNSHIP?
I am in the process of completing an online graduate program in Library and Information Science through the University of South Carolina. My concentration is in school library media, and I hope to pursue work as a school librarian after graduating in December. As a requirement of my program, I must gain practical experience through two internships. I finished my first internship last spring at a primary school in North Carolina. For my second internship, I will focus on working with middle school grades while at Trinity Episcopal School.
