Audubon Elementary School
February 2016
From the Principal's Desk
I hope you enjoyed the snow and the impromptu long weekend at the end of January! I am looking forward to signs of spring. In the meantime, remember that we go outside for recess whenever possible, so please dress your child for the weather.
There is a lot going on at Audubon this month. We are raising money for the American Heart Association by Jumping Rope in Gym and for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by collecting Pennies (and change) for Patients. We have spring pictures and the spring book fair and will get geared up for the science fair with a visit from the Franklin Institute. At the end of the month, Student Council is sponsoring a special dress up day. February has something for everyone to love!
On February 16 we have optional report card conferences available for parents and guardians. Your child's teacher will let you know if they wish to meet with you, but you can certainly request a conference if you wish. If you schedule a conference and then find you are unable to attend, please call us at 610-489-5000 ext. 42200.
I am looking forward to seeing you at our various events this month.
Kind regards,
Tara Ricci
