Inspiring learners and empowering leaders for today and tomorrow....in person and from a distance

Happy Summer!

On behalf of the entire Endeavour staff, I would like to tell you how grateful we are for your enormous support this year. During this pandemic school year, you supported your child as learning looked different from anything we have ever experienced. Through it all, our students were flexible, resilient, and engaged, and they learned and experienced growth.

What a privilege it is to be a part of the Endeavour community! We wish for you a relaxing, summer vacation. Enjoy the outdoors, read great books, and do those things that bring tour family joy!

As we receive information about the fall, we will be in touch through Blackboard Connect.

5th Grade Celebration

It is hard to believe we are preparing our oldest Eagles to soar on to middle school! They are well equipped to be successful at the next level, and we are excited to celebrate not only their achievement but also their resilience and flexibility in a very different learning environment. Please plan on attending a drive -through celebration on Wednesday, June 16. They will be receiving their certificate of achievement as well some other goodies. There will be a video playing as you drive through that recognizes all of our fifth graders.

The schedule for drive-through is:

  • Evergreen: 10:00-11:00
  • Geving: 11:15-12:15
  • Harris: 1:00-2:00
  • Napier: 2:15-3:15

We look forward to seeing you as we celebrate our students

Device Return

Several families have asked if devices can be kept for the summer for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately this is not possible, and all devices must be returned. We will be collecting all devices before we break for the summer. This allows devices to be cleaned, serviced, and made ready for the fall. It is very important that all devices and chargers be returned, and we appreciate your cooperation. The names of students not returning devices will be given to the district, and they will be contacting familiies.

Remote Learners

Please plan on bringing the laptop and charger to school during one of the following windows:

  • June 18: 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-4:00
  • June 21: 8:30-12:00
  • June 22: 1:00-4:00

In-person Learners

Your child's teacher will send you information about your return day. Beginning on the date provided by the teacher, you will send the device and charger to school with your child. Devices will be scanned back in at school.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions!

From the desk of Mrs. Smeby:

Hello, Endeavour Readers! I have changed the settings of each of the “Library with Mrs. Smeby” courses in Schoology so that they may be accessed by Endeavour students all summer long. Please check out the Summer Reading Suggestions folder just beneath my Bitmoji picture for links to read alouds, the Sno-Isle Summer Reading Program, access to ebooks in the Endeavour Library collection and access to free books on Epic and SORA. Were you aware that by using SORA, any student in the Mukilteo schools can access Sno-Isle ebooks and audiobooks with just their student ID number (no Sno-Isle library card needed!)? There’s a video in the Summer Reading Suggestions folder with step-by-step instructions (“Exploring SORA”). Message me in Schoology if you have any questions. Happy summer and happy reading!
