DrillsWe will continue to practice our Fire Drills, Lockdown Drills and Shelter-in-Place drills through the end of the year. | ArtMs. Fouts' 4th graders are working on their sewing projects. They are progressing nicely with their sewing skills and hope to complete their projects soon. 5th grade art students are working on Dragon Eyes. I am excited to see the finished products. | Senorita BejaranoSenorita Bejarano’s class is doing a great job of working on their blends and diagraghs during Phonemic Awareness lesson. The students are excited to accept the challenge of telling the teacher what blend or diagraph they hear in the word that she gives them. |

April Dine Out Today - RUBIO'S COASTAL GRILL - TODAY!We'd love to see everyone's support at Rubio's (on Campbell) TODAY Wednesday, April 12. The dine out starts at 2 pm, so if you're worried about long lines, you can definitely pick up your order early. We've had a successful year already with dine-outs! Earning $988 from Zinburger put us at $3,937 earned for the year, with two more dine-outs to go, and we'd love to hit a $5000 stretch goal. Thank you to everyone who has helped raise money for Ventana Vista by attending these dine outs! | STOCK THE STAFF LOUNGE Help stock the lounge with snacks and treats for our amazing staff and teachers. April is such a busy month at our school and in our district, lets brighten their day with some special treats. Please drop off items next Monday April 17. Spring Evening of the Arts - April 29th - 4 pm - 6:30 pm
The Evening of the Arts IS BACK this year with a Spanish Immersion Flair!! Enjoy perusing the Art Gallery featuring artwork by every VV student, choose to purchase and frame the art to support VVFFO ($20/ea), and listen to end of the year performances from VV orchestra, band and choir! The evening’s schedule will also be highlighted by local mariachi and ballet folklorico performances. AND Food trucks will be on campus if you’d like to make a family evening of it! It’s going to be a great night!! See performance schedule and further details below. We need volunteers before the event to mat artwork, assembly art gallery walls, and hang artwork.
