Attention Class of 2022!

Per TEA, all graduating seniors must complete a financial aid application to graduate.

FAFSA and TASFA opens October 1!

The FAFSA application is for U.S. citizens and TASFA is for non-U.S. citizens.

Students and their parent/guardian that carried them on the 2020 tax return must create an FSAID to access the 2022-2023 application on October 1. *Do not complete the 2021-2022 application. FSAID creation does not apply to the TASFA application. *

Dallas County Promise

The Promise Pledge is now LIVE on the website! You can find the official Promise Pledge steps online. The Promise Pledge is the first step of the Dallas County Promise. Please see the additional steps here. The Dallas County Promise is a last-dollar scholarship opportunity. The expectation is that ALL seniors complete ALL steps of the Promise. The Promise is non-binding and serves as a post-secondary OPTION. ECHS students do not need to apply to Dallas College, but instead a partner university.
