REHEARSAL THIS WEEK
Monday - No rehearsal for anyone
Tuesday - Winds 3:30pm-6pm; Percussion 6pm-9pm
Wednesday - Dine to Donate at Chipotle 5pm-9pm; Color Guard 6pm-9pm
Thursday - Full Ensemble 6pm-9pm
Friday - Full Ensemble 3:30pm-9:30pm; First Responders Night at Football Game
Saturday - Full Ensemble 8:00am-10:00pm - ISSMA Regionals
Some sections are adding individual sectional time to work on the closer to ensure they are ready for Saturday. This will come from their section leader and is not required, but is encouraged if the students can make it work.

- Follow Section Leader and Drum Major instructions.
- Uniform Reminders – For this week, EVERYONE will be wearing full uniform. Students need to wear compression tanks, comfortable athletic shorts or long compression pants/leggings (no sweatpants under bibs), LONG black socks, and black marching shoes with their uniform. If you have had to borrow a pair of shoes previously because you forgot yours - find your shoes TODAY
- It is going to be cool on Friday. Students can bring their Varsity Jacket, Section Sweatshirt, Show Sweatshirt or Jacket, or Royals Sweatshirt to wear over their uniform while playing in the stands
- Bring your “Shorties” this week to play in the stands!

ISSMA REGIONALS - CARROLL HS/FORT WAYNE

CONTEST LOCATION: Carroll High School is located at 3701 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46818
TICKETS: Per ISSMA, tickets are available at the main north-east ticket gate.
- Adult admission is $8.00.
- Student and preschool age admission is $5.00.
- Cash or card is accepted by Carroll High School. PLEASE NOTE: Guests choosing to use credit or debit card will be charged an additional $1.00 for each transaction.
8:00am – Rehearsal begins
11:30am – End of rehearsal/Eat a meal (provide your own); Load semi; Dress into uniform (bibs)/Senior Stories
1:00pm – Meet in band room in uniform and then load buses; Make sure you have everything you need!
1:15pm – Depart HSE for Carroll HS
3:15pm – Arrive at Carroll HS; Unload (1 chaperone/bus to stay with students at buses)
4:10pm – Transit to Warm-Up
4:20pm – Physical Warm-Up “A”
4:35pm – Transit to Music Warm-Up
4:40pm – Music Warm-Up “A”
5:10pm – Transit
5:20pm – Staging
5:30pm – PERFORMANCE – HAVE A GREAT SHOW!!!!
5:45pm – Report back to buses; Load trailer; Change out of uniform; Bring $$$ for concessions! (1 chaperone/bus to monitor students at buses)
7:15pm – Awards; Report back to buses immediately afterward.
7:45pm – Approximate time of departure from Carroll
9:30pm – Approximate time of arrival at HSE; Unload semi/buses and put uniforms away
10:00pm – Approximate time of dismissal
- You must remain on campus at HSE and/or our contest site for the entire day. You must not leave the campus for any reason, as that is a safety concern! You must ride the buses to/from the contest.
- Be respectful and listen at all times to adult contest workers, chaperones, prop crew, parents, staff, contest officials, etc.
- You must represent your school, your community and yourself with pride and dignity.
- Act professionally on Saturday from the moment you arrive at HSE until the dismissal time.
- Follow Section Leader and Drum Major instructions.
- Make sure you have your compression tank, gym shorts, and LONG black socks to wear underneath your uniform, as well as your marching shoes.
- Do not wear sweatpants under bibs, they are too bulky and long. Shorts or long compression pants/leggings are to be worn.
- Uniform Reminders – Hair is to be pinned up and neat. No jewelry is to be worn in uniform; No nail polish.
- Wear your parade shirt, show shirt, or section sweatshirt when not in uniform, so that we can identify where everyone is located.
- It is going to be cool on Saturday. Hand warmers to keep hands and fingers warm before performing are recommended. They can then put them in their bibber pocket or give them to an adult or staff member. They need to have hats and appropriate clothes to wear while sitting in stands after performing.
- You are responsible for bringing your own instrument, as well as mouthpiece, extra reeds, and anything else you need. Please do not expect anyone to load/unload your equipment for you.
- At the contest site, make sure that you are in GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE AT ALL TIMES
