Homeroom Assignments for 2023-24

Students' homeroom assignments for the 2023-24 school year will be posted at the front of the school on July 21st.

Open House is Thursday, July 27th

Open House will be organized by students' last names. Please arrive at Riverside at your assigned time according to the first letter of your child's last name:


  • 8:00 to 9:30 A thru H
  • 10:00 to 11:30 I thru P
  • 1:00 to 2:30 Q thru Z

Summer Breakfasts and Lunches Are Back!

Gwinnett County’s Summer Meals Program is back with free grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches from May 30 to Aug. 1. The nutritious meals are for families with children 18 and under or those 19 and older with a physical or mental impairment. Meals can be picked up curbside at 21 sites from 11:00am to 1:00pm, Monday through Friday — including County holidays — while supplies last.


The attached flyer lists all 21 locations where summer meals are available for pick up and contact information should anyone have questions.

5th Grade Walk at Riverside

Look at these proud graduating 5th grade Riverside Rockets! Each year Kindergarten through 4th grade students get to line the hallways and cheer for the 5th graders as they take their walk through the school. Congratulations, 5th grade!

Zoo-pendous!


Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders were treated to a mobile zoo on the last day of school! Students got to see several animals up close and even had the option to get a picture with one of the animals.

Summer and the Media Center

Brownie Troop #21660 of Suwanee completed their Take Action project by collecting donations for the cats of the Gwinnett County Humane Society. The girls traded their shelter donations for snuggles with cats and kittens available for adoption.
