Double Trouble
Something wicked HiH's way come !
Congratulations again to those who participated to the Hogwarts School song ! No matter what Headmaster Balog said, we were wonderful ;)
You can find it on the following link:
https://soundcloud.com/roadhoir/the-hogwarts-school-song-froad-choir
Now it's time for a harder task : getting into trouble !
Please send the record in mp3 format (no video) and send it to
froadchoir@gmail.com within a month. If you have any trouble (bad pun intented), send me an owl on HiH :)
This time around, we will sing to a melody, you will find the accompanying music at the end of the flyer :) However I will ask you still send me an accapella version (you record the singing while playing the music in your headphones for instance) or a version in which the music is as low as possible, so that it does not overpower our singing when I mix everything together :)
The lyrics
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing.
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.
In the cauldron boil and bake,
Fillet of a fenny snake,
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witches' mummy, maw and gulf.
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Something wicked this way comes!
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing.
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.
In the cauldron boil and bake,
Fillet of a fenny snake,
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witches' mummy, maw and gulf.
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Something wicked this way comes!
A tibit of culture :)
Did you know that these lyrics are originally from Shakespeare's Macbeth ? And that they are a spell sung by...the Weird Sisters ?
