Family Newsletter
Dear CPE Families,
OUR STUDENTS ARE BACK! It was so wonderful to have some of our 2nd graders on campus today. We have set up safety protocols for wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing. The systems all went smoothly and the students seemed to have a great day.
NEW: Kindergarten is returning next week with first grade. Hybrid A students start on Monday March 29th and Hybrid B students start on Tuesday March 30th. We will see our kindergarten and first grade students next week.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please fill out the attestation form by 8:00 so we can quickly check your student off and get them into class and breakfast. Call the main office at 431-2396 if you need assistance.

Attendance/Truancy Information
Attendance and Truancy during COVID-Attendance Matters
Schools are taking attendance during remote learning and marking absences as excused or unexcused. Contact the school if your child participated in remote learning, even if it wasn’t a live class, and you don’t think the school knows. If your child was not able to participate because of COVID-related problems, contact the school to excuse their absences. It is important that you communicate with your teacher and your school to get the support you need.
School Attendance line 425-431-3919 call to report your student absent. If you know your child will be absent, please call and leave a message. Our registrar checks messages everyday. You can also let the teacher know about your child being absent.

Natural Leaders Bi-Weekly Meetings on Wednesdays at 11:00 am
Natural Leaders serve as multi-cultural bridges between students, families, communities, and schools. Research has consistently shown students’ success to be highly correlated with the level of their parent engagement. When parents are involved, students achieve more, regardless of socio-economic status, ethnic/racial background, or the parents’ education level.
Get involved, and learn how you can help other parents. Share your talents and skills with us!
For more information please contact Carmen Ziranda 425-431-2420 or fill out the form below to receive a calendar with the dates and times.
