Always work indoor clinics and hospitals. usually work more than 40 hours per week. Have a high level of social interactions. Must be very exact in their work and be sure all details are complete. Errors or omissions could seriously endanger the health and safety of patients.

Have to have a high school diploma or equivalent. have a bachelor’s degree. graduate from medical school. complete an internship. pass a state licensing exam. complete a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology.pass additional exams to become board certified
