Meet the Teacher!
“We shall walk together on this path of life, for all things are part of the universe and are connected with each other to form one whole unity.” —Maria Montessori, To Educate the Human Potential
Building community is one of the most important parts of “walk[ing] together on this path of life.” The Morehead community is thrilled to welcome the newest teachers and staff to our school and we appreciate learning more about our seasoned teachers and staff. Central to building and strengthening Morehead connections is learning about one another. To that end, we’re continuing to share information about teachers and staff via a series of All about Our Staff articles. This installment includes Ms. Botts, Ms. Weaver, and Mr. Beardsley. What an interesting trio!!!!

Celebrating Diversity Night at Morehead
The time to celebrate the amazing diversity of our Morehead Community is almost here!
On Friday January 31, 2020, 530-730 pm, we will hold our annual Celebrating Diversity Night at Morehead, a beautiful event in which The Morehead Family shares the brilliant and diverse cultural traditions that our school contains.
We are looking for some families to contribute crafts, games, songs, dances, or other activities that represent a part of your culture or heritage that you would like to share.
A few examples from prior years include:
-teaching or performing a traditional dance
-teaching or performing folk music from your culture
-teaching and playing a traditional game
-making a traditional craft (for example: origami figures, Chinese lanterns)
Please use your imagination and sign up to share your culture with others in the Morehead Community.
Please email Amy Bryant amybryant27@yahoo.com with your ideas. The planning committee will contact you to help plan.
We look forward to a very special evening!
