Week of November 13
School Choice Open House November 16 & Science Fair December 7
1. 5:30pm-7pm – start in the cafeteria
2. Grades 2, 3, 4, &5 need to have at least two representatives present. Encore teachers have a sign up sheet for either this event or December 7.
3. Grade levels be prepared for two things: a) a person prepared to provide tours of the campus, and b) person(s) to facilitate STEM activities in a grade level classroom - assign this duty beforehand.
4. Lance will ready the technology for the presentation led by admin in the cafeteria
5. Taylor and Hamilton will do the presentation and host Q & A after the presentation and while parents visit classrooms (don’t want to provide a whole group setting for this).
6. Tammy will ensure either AC or heat will be scheduled.
1. Grade 1 will need to have at least 1 member present, but for the December 7 Science Fair, all 1st grade teaches will need to be present (music performance included that evening of 12-7).
1. Kindergarten will have all members because of the potential for larger kindergarten enrollment turnout.
Science Fair
1. At least one person per grade level for 2, 3, 4, and 5 – not including kindergarten
2. 1st grade, all teachers present since students are performing

Tardy Policy Reminder - PLEASE ENSURE THE 5 through 9 TARDY Incident Procedures are followed.
- Five Tardies and/or Early Check-Outs = Letter from School
- Ten Tardies and/or Early Check-Outs =
- “Make-Up” Time assigned. Student is no longer eligible for Perfect AttendanceEleven + Tardies and/or Early Check-Outs = “Make-Up” time assigned for each occasion
- Second Semester – Student starts over. However, ineligibility for Perfect Attendance carries over.
- If Tardies/Early Check-Outs resume again, school can begin “Make-Up” time sooner than ten occasions.
Inclement Weather Procedures Synopsis
If and when weather does arrive and the call is made, I will send out a message using Remind, but the district website will post the proper procedures to account for each day. MY MESSAGE IS NOT OFFICIAL so always refer to the website.
Certified staff has to account for days - Classified staff must account for hours. Every attempt will be made to allow for those who need to make up time to do so, without going over into overtime
